COMPASSIONATE EXTENSION OF ONLINE COURSE REGISTRATION WITH PENALTY

The Ebonyi State University Senate, at its 52nd Regular Meeting held on Wednesday 12th August, 2026, has approved a compassionate extension of the 2025/2026 online course registration with penalty from Friday 14th August to Friday 21st August, 2026. The extension has become expedient to give the students ample time to clear up the 2025/2026 registration process and prepare for the upcoming Second Semester examinations slated to begin on Monday 7th September, 2026.

All the students are, therefore, required to comply with this gracious consideration to fulfill the eligibility requirements for the forthcoming examinations, as we shall not hesitate to apply the rules on defaulters.

Kindly note that there will be no further extension of the registration period, as we need to complete the ongoing academic year in line with the provisions of the 2025/2026 academic calendar.

The Deans, Heads of Department and all concerned are requested to provide adequate sensitization to the students to ensure proper implementation of the foregoing for the smooth procedural transition to the 2026/2027 academic year.
